The Book That Inspired the Series
Tainted Love by E.J. Lace is about Savannah, a high school student dealing with personal trauma, family secrets, and a dangerous relationship. It all starts when her things are stolen, and she ends up borrowing clothes from Damon, the son of a gang leader.
This sparks a tense, sometimes violent connection between them. Savannah also looks out for her cousin Percy, who faces bullying, while she struggles with her own issues like anxiety and self-harm.
As her relationship with Damon deepens, she uncovers dark family secrets involving gangs, leading to a dangerous confrontation with Damon’s father. Despite the risks, Savannah is determined to protect her family and stay loyal to them.
