The Book That Inspired the Series
Keily by Manjari follows a journey of Keily, a high school student struggling with body image issues, who faces bullying. Her bully is James. After a tense confrontation at a party where Keily tries to shock him by revealing lingerie, the two continue to clash. Keily finds some support from Lucas, a friend of her cousin Addison, who defends her against James’s taunts. As tensions rise between James and Lucas, Keily is caught in the middle, unsure of her feelings and dealing with the fallout from their confrontations. The story explores Keily’s journey through bullying, self-confidence, and navigating complex relationships with James and Lucas.
