ANNA
Oh, how I adore the spring! It’s not just the vibrant flowers that bloom across the fields and hills that I love but also the way spring makes me feel.
It makes me feel horny.
In the werewolf community, spring is synonymous with mating season. This holds true even when you’re mated, especially to two alpha kings as fiery as Ares and Apollo.
Now, it’s early April. We’ve had our share of heavy rain this season, but this week has been dry.
Ares and Apollo were insistent on having our first spring picnic this week. I was all for it. I’ve always loved picnics and the passionate lovemaking that usually follows, which, last time, resulted in the conception of our child, Artemis.
Even now, we make love with the fervor of rabbits—or in our case, werewolves—during spring.
It’s been six months since I gave birth to Artemis, and I’m surprised they haven’t gotten me pregnant again.
But I’m enjoying the respite—having a flat belly and normal hormones. Although, I know there’s a good chance they’ll get me pregnant again after this picnic.
“Apollo, Ares, are you ready?” I called out.
I took one last look in the mirror, adjusting my long blonde curls that fell over my shoulder and applying a final touch of pink lipstick. I chose to wear jeans and a light sweater. A dress would have been easier to access, but I wanted them to work for it. After all, foreplay is half the fun.
I took a deep breath, turned on my heel, and left the bathroom.
“I’m ready!” I announced cheerfully, waiting for either Ares or Apollo to comment on my appearance.
“You look perfect!” Apollo exclaimed, his brown curls falling over his face, framing his blue eyes. He was as handsome as ever, with his chiseled face, kind eyes, and lean muscular body.
Ares smirked, his green eyes meeting mine. He brushed back his raven hair with one hand. “You’re stunning, as always. But I prefer you with less clothing,” he said, winking at me.
I rolled my eyes and walked toward the closet to grab a light jacket.
Even though it was April and not exactly warm, the sun was shining brightly. And we wolves don’t feel the cold like humans do.
“Where’s the picnic basket?” I asked, playfully narrowing my eyes at Ares. It was his job to make sure it was ready.
Ares smiled. “Don’t worry, sweetheart. It’s all set and ready downstairs in the foyer.”
“Good boy,” I teased, hoping to get his heart racing. I loved pushing his buttons. Our playful banter was part of the fun.
Ares winked at me again before coming closer. His hands traced my back and spine. His touch was gentle yet firm.
I closed my eyes, savoring his touch.
I cleared my throat, realizing we were getting ahead of ourselves before we had even made it to the picnic.
“Let’s go then, boys.” I winked at Ares and Apollo before striding out of the room, down the hallway, and ascending the spiral staircase.
They followed me like eager puppies, craving attention and affection.
My mates. My heart swelled as I thought about the depth of our relationship and how it had grown over time and with the birth of our child.
I couldn’t have asked for two better men to share my life with. They were amazing fathers, husbands, and mates.
Their bond and connection gave me newfound confidence.
Ares picked up the picnic basket, his muscles shifting under his sweater. I had to force myself to look away, pretending not to be distracted by his allure.
But my mind was already on sex and enjoying the company of my two mates. So naturally, my gaze lingered on Apollo’s lean figure.
“Ahem,” Ares cleared his throat, noticing my obvious fixation.
They could still get jealous at times.
I tore my eyes away from the two men and focused straight ahead. I had to at least pretend to wait until we reached the picnic, right?
The walk was agonizing, mostly because the fresh air did nothing to dilute their intoxicating scents. Their unique mating scents drew me in. The aroma of fresh mahogany and pine filled the air, and I found myself squeezing my thighs together to fight the overwhelming desire that consumed me.
“Apollo asked, “Are you okay?” His concern was evident, but I could sense his desire radiating off him.
We were now climbing a hill, moving through the lush green fields toward our picnic spot.
I nodded, unable to form coherent words. If I tried to speak, I feared my words would come out jumbled, too soft, or too harsh. I couldn’t control my emotions or the arousal building within me from their mere presence.
“Apollo asked again, “You okay, baby?” His question sent a rush of adrenaline through me.
His gruff voice made me purr. I shot him a feeble glare, but I didn’t feel anger toward him, only an insatiable desire.
At last, we reached our picnic spot, a small hill surrounded by green grass and newly bloomed spring flowers—lilies and purple wildflowers.
The view was breathtaking—vast, open, and picturesque. It was my favorite place in our kingdom.
Apollo spread out the blue checkered blanket, flattening the grass beneath it while Ares placed the picnic basket next to it.
Ares sat, propping himself up on his elbow and idly picking apart a purple wildflower.
Apollo looked up at me, his gentle blue eyes softening as he offered me a warm smile.
They both patted the open space next to them, inviting me to sit between them.
A soft smile spread across Apollo’s face, reaching his eyes. “Come, relax.”
“Sit,” Ares commanded in his usual manner. Trust Ares to always be the one giving orders.
I settled down between my two mates, their body heat washing over me and further igniting my senses.
