Grayson didn’t say anything after catching me in my room. In fact, he carried on like nothing had happened at all.
He hadn’t gone out again since, and I’d been too embarrassed to bring it up when we’d been in the same room. I was beginning to question if it had been real or just part of my fantasy.
Our parents were going to be back any minute, and Grayson hadn’t said anything about telling them what he saw. I came down the stairs, my panic increasing with every step. I twisted the edge of my dress between my fingers as I reached the bottom.

Grayson took one last bite of his mac and cheese before getting up. He winked at me as he passed, and we followed my father outside.
In the driveway, next to my father’s car, was a black Aston Martin. Emily stood beside it, looking hopeful.
“Surprise, Grayson!” Emily said with a huge smile on her face. “I managed to convince your father to give me your car back.”
Miraculously, Grayson grinned back at her. It was the first time I had seen him look anything other than angry at his mom since he arrived. Her face brightened even more as he walked up.
“Thanks, Mom,” he muttered.
There were tears in her eyes as she handed him the keys before embracing him. He awkwardly patted her back, obviously uncomfortable with the close contact.
Emily immediately let him go.
“Sorry,” she said quickly. “Well, I figured that you could use it. I usually take Kas to school, but now that you have your car, you guys can go together—if that’s okay.”
Grayson nodded. “That’s okay, Mom.”
He tossed his keys in the air and walked over to inspect the vehicle as the rest of us headed inside. Emily asked about our weekend as my dad took their bags upstairs.
“Not much happened,” I said quickly. “We just… hung out. Nothing special.”
“He was nice today,” she said. “Maybe if you guys spend more time together, we’ll have more days like today.”
I pursed my lips and nodded.
I had a white-knuckle grip on my seat as Grayson raced in between cars on the freeway.
“You’re driving too fast, Grayson!”
He chuckled. “And your school uniform is too short.”
I hastily tried to pull down my skirt, but there wasn’t much I could do. It was too short.
I’d bought it at the start of summer, and it had been fine then, but I guess I’d grown a little. I could get another one in a bigger size, but it was my last year. Why waste the money?
I glanced over at him. He looked perfect in his. The sleeves of his navy-blue blazer were slightly rolled up, showing just a hint of his ink. He’d also managed to perfectly tie a half-Windsor knot in his necktie, our school badge showcased in the middle.
The car swerved into the left lane, and I stifled a scream as my foot slammed down on an imaginary brake. Grayson reached over, placing his hand on my thigh. My gaze darted down to it. The coldness of the rings on his fingers made me shiver.
“W-what are you doing?” I asked as it slid along my skin.
He laughed as he whipped around a truck and back into the left lane. I squealed as he came within inches of a black SUV, covering my eyes with my hands.
“Please slow down!” I shouted, lowering my palms to glare at him.
“Touch yourself like you did the other day, and I will,” he said, eyes flicking to me.
I shifted in my seat. “That was a mistake, Grayson. I—I don’t know what came over me.”
His hand moved higher, brushing the edge of my uniform as he continued to hold my gaze while weaving in and out of traffic. He leaned slightly over the console.
“You knew exactly what you were doing, Kassia, and you loved it,” he said in a husky whisper, turning back toward the road.
I clenched my legs together as his hand slipped beneath my skirt, but he spread them apart with his thumb as his fingers inched closer. His words and his touch were making me so wet that by the time his hand reached my entrance, I knew he could feel how damp my panties were.
