“Thank fuck that’s over,” I grumbled, flopping into one of the brown leather recliners.
“Yeah,” Craig said as he settled into the matching recliner next to me. “I know more than I ever wanted to about RVs.”
The RV was a top-of-the-line luxury model.
Twenty-First Century Parks had struck a deal with an RV company to rent the mausoleum on wheels free of charge for six weeks in exchange for publicity and advertising through our campaign.
The owner of the RV dealership delivered it personally to Honeymoon Bay, boring three-hour training session included.
Craig and I planned to take turns. The guy made us drive it out of the park and down the highway to make sure we could handle it.
We were farm boys, used to handling heavy farm equipment, so it didn’t take long to get the hang of it.
“What are we having for dinner?” Julie asked, running her fingers along the marble countertop.
“Whatever you make,” Craig said with a laugh. He leaned his head back and closed his eyes.
“As if,” she scoffed. “You know I can’t cook.”
“Order a pizza,” I joked.
“I’ll cook,” Cheyenne said. She opened the fully stocked fridge and began pulling things out.
“You can cook?” Julie asked.
She watched with a skeptical scowl as Cheyenne laid out four steaks and applied a rub she mixed up in less than two minutes.
Cheyenne glanced over at us. Craig had his eyes closed. She looked at me with wide eyes before responding to Julie.
“Yes. I went to culinary school. I’m pretty sure I know how to cook.”
“You went to culinary school? I didn’t know that. Sorry.” She studied her nails for a moment. “You have permission to cook my food.”
“Shit,” Craig muttered under his breath.
“My money’s on your sister,” I whispered. Hands down. No contest. Cheyenne was probably five-nine or five-ten. And she was all muscle. The kind of muscle developed from years of hard labor.
Yeah, the little farm girl could kick the society chick’s ass in five seconds flat.
Cheyenne picked up a cloth and wiped her hands before lifting her head to glare at Julie. If looks could kill, Julie would be dead on the floor.
“I don’t need your permission to do anything. I’ll prepare the meals because I like cooking. Whether you choose to eat what I make is entirely up to you.
“If it weren’t for me, you wouldn’t even be on this trip. I may be younger than you, but that doesn’t mean you can boss me around or treat me with disrespect.”
She gathered up the steaks and marched out the door, slamming it behind her.
I got a semi just watching Cheyenne dress Julie down. Literally. No kidding. I had to grab a couch cushion to cover it up. That girl was hot.
Why the fuck did she have to be my best friend’s little sister? If she weren’t off-limits, I’d be taking her to bed. Thoughts of burying myself inside her sweet pussy didn’t help the situation in my lap.
“Jules, can I talk to you in the bedroom?” Craig asked, rising from the chair.
“Sure, baby,” she crooned. “You wanna have a quickie?”
I rolled my eyes as they disappeared down the hallway.
“I’m gonna head outside and see if Cheyenne needs any help,” I called out, slipping on my sandals.
I found her working away at the outdoor kitchen pull-out. “Need some help?”
She looked up from the grill. “Yes. Could you wash the mushrooms and slice them up?”
“Sure thing.” I went to work on my assigned task. The outdoor kitchen was a small space, and I kept bumping into Cheyenne as she worked the grill. “Sorry.”
She glanced over her shoulder. “It’s okay, Abe,” she said with a sly smile. Then she hip-checked me, laughing playfully.
I was in so much trouble. How was I going to keep my hands off her? I swallowed hard, praying my dick would behave as I dumped the sliced mushrooms into the waiting pan.
“What else do you need me to do?”
“You could set the table.”
When I went inside to gather up plates and cutlery, Craig and Julie were making out on the sofa.
“Dinner is almost ready,” I muttered, opening multiple cupboards until I found the plates.
“Cheyenne, that was amazing,” I declared, leaning back in my chair.
“Yes, it was,” Craig chimed in. “Thanks, kiddo.”
“Craig,” I said, leaning over to wrap my arm around his shoulder. “I’d like permission to marry your little sister.”
“The answer is a resounding no.” He lifted my arm away and glared at me. “Not in a million years.”
“Lighten up, man. I was kidding.”
“I didn’t find it funny.”
“Did the meal meet your high standards?” I asked Julie with a pointed stare.
“Yes. It was very good. Thank you, Cheyenne.”
“Good. I guess you won’t mind cleaning up then since we cooked.” I winked at Cheyenne.
“Okay. I guess that’s fair.” Julie stood up and started clearing the table. “Craig, help me.”
He jumped up and gathered the plates. As soon as they went inside the RV, Cheyenne made a whipping gesture with her hand.
I threw my head back and laughed. “Wanna go for a walk around the park? We need some pictures for the first social media post.”
“Um. Okay. Should we wait for them?” She swallowed nervously.
“I’d rather not.”
“Me too. I’ll grab my camera and tell Craig what we’re doing.”
“What kind of people do you think would buy an RV like ours? Like, who has that much money? And then you pull into a place like this and park your hotel on wheels for the night.
“If you had that much money, wouldn’t there be more exciting things to do? Like travel to exotic places and see the world.”
“I’m not sure,” she said, glancing up at me. “I guess we’ll probably have a better idea after we spend six weeks hanging out in campgrounds.”
“Yeah. I guess.”
When we reached the front of the park, I stopped to snap a few shots of the log cabin that housed the general store and park office. A giant ceramic bear stood outside the front entrance.
“Why don’t you sit there in front of the bear and I’ll take a picture of you?”
“Okay.” She sat down on the small bench in front of the statue.
As I was preparing to take the picture, the campground manager came out the front door.
We had met the middle-aged woman and her husband when we arrived.
“Hello,” she called out.
I nodded at her and went back to fiddling with my camera.
“Would you like me to get a picture of the two of you sitting with the bear?” she asked.
“Um, sure.”
I didn’t want anyone touching my camera, but I wasn’t going to pass up an opportunity to snuggle up close to Cheyenne.
I handed the lady the camera. “It’s all set. You don’t have to do anything except press this button right here.”
“Okay, honey,” she said, gesturing toward Cheyenne. “You go and sit with your girl.”
“She’s not my girl,” I said.
She tilted her head and stuck her lower lip out. “That’s too bad. You two would make a cute couple. All that blonde hair.
“And you’re both so tall. A match made in heaven.” She sighed and pressed her hand against her heart.
I would be a dead man if I laid a finger on that girl. But boy oh boy. I wanted to.
Cheyenne slid to one side of the bench, perching on the very end as I took a seat next to her.
“I don’t bite you know,” I said. Then I did something risky. I reached over and wrapped my arm around her shoulders, pulling her close to my side.
She tensed up, and I thought I’d made a huge misstep. Then, to my surprise, she relaxed against me.
Her hair smelled heavenly. The coconut scent of her shampoo wafted up my nostrils as I tried my damnedest not to get a hard-on.
“Smile,” the lady said.
Cheyenne was nervous and jumpy on the walk back to our site. I decided it would be best to keep my distance.
We walked in silence most of the way, our feet crunching on the gravel as the smell of campfires filled the air.
Craig had our fire going when we got back. “How was the walk?” he asked, throwing another log on.
“Good. Got a few pictures for the feed.”
“Oh, yeah? Let me see.” He reached for my camera.
I handed it to him and put some distance between us. Cheyenne grinned, a devilish glint sparkling in her blue eyes.
What a little vixen. One minute she acted all innocent and nervous, making me wonder how much experience she had with men.
Then, in the next instance, she would flirt or make some comment laden with sexual innuendos. Like the one about her mouth being able to stretch. I knew what she was getting at. That did not slip past me.
Craig frowned as he scrolled through the photos. “Who took the one of you guys in front of the bear?”
I cleared my throat. “The manager lady.”
“Oh.” He handed the camera to me and went back to poking at the fire with a long stick.
“Do you want a beer?” I asked as I headed for the door.
“Sure.”
The three of us settled around the fire with our beers. I was surprised when Cheyenne cracked one open and chugged it back.
Maybe you can never truly remove the tomboy from a girl, even after she turns into a super sexy woman.
“Why’d Julie go to bed so early?” I asked, tipping my bottle back.
Craig shrugged. “She’s not into sitting around the campfire.”
“What is she into?” Cheyenne asked. “Sorry. I know she’s your girlfriend and all. It just seems like she’s out of her element.”
“It’s okay. I’m hoping she might be willing to try some new things. Go outside her comfort zone. She can be a lot of fun.”
Oh, man. He was in for a world of hurt. That chick wouldn’t change. And she wouldn’t be happy until she was back in her high society life.
“We need to talk about the sleeping arrangements!” I yelled from my bunk over the cockpit. “I’m six-four, and this bed is… well, it’s not long enough. I’m twisted up like a fucking pretzel!”
“There’s no room for Julie and me up there,” Craig said.
“No shit. There’s barely room for me.” I leaned over the edge, hanging upside down as I glared at my friend.
“What do you suggest, Abe?”
“Let me sleep on the pull-out sofa.”
“Then where’s Cheyenne gonna sleep? You wanna tell her she has to sleep up there?”
“No, I was thinking we could both sleep on the pull-out.” I gave him a toothy grin. “I’ll behave. I’m your best friend.
“Do you actually think I’d put the moves on your sister with you right in the next room?”
“Yes,” he replied without a moment’s hesitation. “I know you, Abe. Too well. I can tell when you’ve got your sights set on a girl. My sister is off-limits.”
“Why? You think I’m not good enough for her?”
“No. But you’re a womanizer and afraid of commitment. I want my sister to find a guy who is husband-material. She had that, and for some reason she won’t share, she turned down his proposal.”
“What if she needs a rebound fling?”
“Abe, I’m not kidding. Keep your hands off Cheyenne.”
“Craig? Are you coming to bed?” Julie’s whiny voice filtered out from the bedroom at the back of the RV. The bedroom with a fucking king-sized bed.
“Yeah!”
He pointed his finger at me. “I’m right on the other side of that door. Remember that.”
“This discussion isn’t over!” I yelled as he closed the bedroom door.
The bathroom door opened, and Cheyenne emerged. I pulled myself up and fixed my gaze on her. She was wearing a white T-shirt and pink checkered sleep shorts.
Why couldn’t she wear a nightgown that went down to her ankles? But no. She had to prance around in her barely there shorts with her amazing tits bobbing freely under that shirt. I flopped back on my pillow and groaned.
I heard a small chuckle just before she turned out the lights. “Good night, Abraham.”
Oh! The little vixen knew I was watching her. And she liked it! Somehow, someway, I was gonna get in her pants without her brother finding out. And sooner rather than later, if my cock had anything to say about it.
