PROLOGUE
DON’T BE SHY, they said.
They being the Diaz family, encouraging Cassie Diaz to be brave.
Stick to horses, they said.
They being Cassie’s brother and grandfather.
Grow up, they said.
Okay, maybe that last one was Cassie’s.
Cassie was twenty-nine, and for the first time in her life, she was getting on a bull in a rodeo competition. Her family was going to be very proud of her.
If Cassie survived this ride.
