The Hitchhiker
Axel: I just turned forty, stumbling headfirst into a midlife crisis the moment I entered the dreaded decade of middle age. I’m supposed to be making this cross-country journey alone to get my head straight. The last thing I want is a flighty chick riding shotgun.
Dallas: I’m twenty-one and am on the run from a life I didn’t choose. The plan is simple: hitchhike my way to Florida, get a job, then never let a man close enough to control my life or heart. But as we reach our destination I realize I’m not ready to say goodbye to my ride yet.
