GARRETT
“You okay over there, Vada?” I asked. “You’re awfully quiet.”
“Just thinking about my dad,” she said. “He looked so sad when we left.”
“Nah. He just couldn’t wait to get rid of us.”
“Just Evan,” Jake laughed.
“What’s that supposed to mean?” Evan barked.
“You can be a bit overbearing, Ev,” I said. “We all love you, but sometimes you just need to take a step back and loosen the reins a bit.”
“I’m the business manager. It’s my job to manage. And that’s what I do.”
“Micromanage,” Vada mumbled under her breath.
Evan twisted around in his seat and glared at her, his thin lips pressed firmly together in a scowl. “Excuse me?”
“You heard me,” she said with a bored sigh.
“You’re very disrespectful, Vada.”
“And you’re a control freak, Evan.”
“Remind me again why we picked her,” he grumbled to Jake.
“Because you want in my pants, Evan Morgan,” she declared.
He turned around again, the tension crackling between them as they engaged in a staredown.
“You’re right about that, sweetheart,” he said calmly. “And I micromanage in the bedroom, as well.
“When I fuck you, I’ll be in complete control. You’ll be tied to the headboard with your panties stuffed in your mouth, so I don’t have to listen to your sass while I fuck your brains out.”
“Whoa!” I exclaimed. “Better crank the AC, Jake. It’s getting hot in here.”
“Dream on, Evan,” she hissed. “The only action you’re gonna be getting is from your hand. And maybe if you’re nice, I might let you watch your friends fuck me.”
“That’s not how this works, Vada.”
“We’ll see,” she said, turning away to stare out the window.
“Guys, I think we need to explain the rules to her right now,” Evan said. “She seems confused.”
“I think we all need to just chill,” I suggested. “We have lots of time. There’s no hurry.”
“I second that,” Jake said. “Let’s just relax and have some fun today.”
“Where are we headed anyway?” Vada asked.
“Jacksonville,” I replied. “The annual Florida Car Enthusiast Flea Market is on this week. We’re gonna stop there for a few hours and then check into a hotel.”
“A few hours?” she groaned. “Can’t you drop me off at the hotel and you guys go to the flea market?”
“No!” Evan snapped. “You’re on this trip to start your education about the classic car business.”
“I don’t need an education, Evan. I’ve been around the business my entire life. And I know how to fix cars.”
“You need to know a lot more than that to run a business like ours.”
“And how is a flea market going to teach me that?”
“It’s about acquisition of parts, Vada,” he explained.
“When you deal in classic cars, parts are not easy to come by. They’re like antiques.
“Some parts are extremely rare, which puts their value up. In order to run a successful classic car restoration business we need to have the rare, hard-to-find parts.
“And the less we pay for them, the more money we get back in our pockets.”
“So you’re out to take advantage of poor unsuspecting people who have no idea what their stuff is really worth?”
“The vendors at the flea market know the value of their products.”
“I was talking more about the people with the rusted-out wrecks in their barns and fields.”
“Nobody else is going to come and strip those vehicles and pay them money. It’s a win-win.”
“But you’re going to pay them a lot less than what the parts are worth.”
“And we’re also providing a service, Vada,” he said, bristling with barely restrained impatience. “You and Jake are going to remove the parts. And that won’t be pleasant.
“Some of the vehicles we’re interested in have been sitting for decades. There could be rats’ nests under the hoods, and lord knows what else.”
“Rats!” she shrieked. “No fucking way!”
“There won’t be any rats!” Jake yelled. “Evan, enough!”
“Everybody needs to just chill,” I ordered. “Now.”
“Do you guys argue like this when you’re tag-teaming a chick?” Vada asked.
“No,” I assured her. “We usually get along much better than we are today.”
“I guess I’m gonna have to keep you boys in line on this trip,” she warned, wagging her finger back and forth. “You get along, or no special treats at night.”
“What kind of treats are we talking?” Jake asked, grinning at our girl in the rearview mirror.
“I guess you’ll have to be on your best behavior to find out,” she teased.
“I’m always a good boy,” I whispered.
“I know you are, Garrett.”
She turned those devilish green eyes on me, a sly grin spreading across her sexy mouth when she reached over and rubbed my balls through my shorts. I squirmed in my seat, my dick hardening to granite.
She withdrew her hand, eyeing my hard-on with a hungry perusal. “What are the sleeping arrangements tonight?” she asked huskily.
“Uh, I’m not sure,” I stuttered. “Evan?”
“We have two adjoining rooms. Each one has two beds.”
“You guys are so cheap,” Vada snorted. “Why can’t I have my own room?”
“Two reasons,” Evan explained. “One, we don’t waste money. And two, you’re going to be our wife.
“We want you with us. How are we supposed to develop our relationship with you sleeping in a different room?”
“I haven’t agreed to anything,” she said. “And Jake said I’d have my own room at your house. That’s why you had one decorated for me.”
“You will have your own room when we get home,” Evan clarified. “We want you to have your privacy, and a place to go when you need space.
“But not while we’re on the road. This trip is all about bonding.”
“Bond this,” she grumbled, giving him the finger.
“I give up,” he muttered.
***
“Seriously?” Vada whined when we pulled up in front of the hotel in Jacksonville. “You guys are rich. And you stay in places like this?”
“There’s nothing wrong with the Perkless Inn,” Evan sighed. “It’s a clean, safe place to stay.”
“Who am I sharing a room with?” she asked.
“Your pick, sweetheart,” I said, lifting her suitcase out of the back of the van.
“Hmm.” She pressed her index finger to her chin, looking back and forth between me and Jake. “I pick Garrett.”
“Go Garrett!” Jake cheered.
Jake was the most easygoing guy I’d ever known. He didn’t have a jealous bone in his body. And there was no reason to be jealous. We’d all get our chance to spend time alone with Vada.
After Evan checked us in, we headed up to our rooms on the third floor. The hotel was brand new and spotless. But Vada still wrinkled her nose as we made our way down the hall.
Our wife-to-be was a bit of a spoiled princess.
I slid the room key into the lock, gesturing for her to go first. She dragged her suitcase inside and hefted it onto the bed by the window.
“What are you doing?!” Evan cried.
“Getting out my bathing suit,” she snapped, wrestling with him for the handle when he tried to lift the suitcase off the bed. “There’s a pool.”
“Never put your luggage on the bed in a hotel room,” he instructed, relocating her pink camouflage suitcase to the luggage rack. “There could be bed bugs.”
“If you’re paranoid about bed bugs, don’t stay at a cheap motel!”
“It doesn’t matter whether it’s a cheap or expensive place, Vada,” he explained. “Bed bugs can be anywhere.”
“Whatever,” she muttered, nudging him out of the way as she opened the zipper. She rummaged through her clothes, producing a hot-pink string bikini.
I waited patiently while Evan checked our room for bed bugs. There was no point in arguing with him. He did that every time we stayed in a hotel.
“All clear,” he advised, throwing Vada a dirty look before he left.
“Evan is crazy,” she said. “Like, totally fucked in the head.”
“No, he’s not.”
“I think we’re gonna have to agree to disagree on this one, Garrett.”
“Fair enough.”
“Are you coming down to the pool?”
“Nah.”
“Suit yourself.”
She disappeared into the bathroom, locking the door behind her.
Vada was a confusing woman. She’d been flirting with me all day. The girl rubbed my balls. But she didn’t trust me enough to leave the bathroom door unlocked?
Was it all an act?
Maybe Vada wasn’t as experienced as she led us to believe. She talked a good game, and she’d had lots of boyfriends. It didn’t seem plausible that she would be sexually inexperienced.
We weren’t strangers, but we were a lot older than her. She’d never been alone with us like this. And certainly not as a potential lover.
She’d probably never been with three guys at once, or even two. Perhaps that was the reason she felt compelled to lock the door.
I set up my laptop on the desk, hoping to get some work done before we went for dinner.
We hadn’t spent that long at the flea market, and we’d left with only a few small parts. It was extremely crowded, and our female companion was quite vocal about her boredom.
Vada liked cars. She was a pretty decent mechanic, from what Jake said. I thought she’d be more interested in the flea market.
I turned around when I heard the bathroom door open. My cock went from flaccid to steel the second she pranced out in her bikini.
Vada was a sexy young woman, her delicate curves belying her tough and feisty personality.
“Like what you see?” she asked, her voice coming out in a sexy drawl.
“Uh-huh,” I mumbled, licking my lips.
A wave of guilt washed over me when I stared directly at her pussy. She was my best friend’s daughter.
He gave you his blessing.
He wants you to take care of her.
He asked you to do this.
Her skimpy bikini bottoms barely covered her lips. I imagined laying her down on the bed and spreading her thighs wide before I buried my face in all that delicious pussy goodness.
“You might wanna take care of that while I’m gone,” she laughed, gesturing to my crotch. “It looks uncomfortable.”
I watched her pull on her cover-up, slipping her feet into a pair of pink camouflage sandals. And then she was gone, leaving me alone with my throbbing dick.
Jake barged through the adjoining door, glancing around the room before his eyes landed on the pool cue sticking out the front of my shorts.
“Where’s Vada?” he asked with a wry grin.
“She went down to the pool.”
“I’m going to assume she caused that?” he surmised, nodding toward my boner.
“Yep. Her bikini didn’t leave much to the imagination.”
“Oh yeah?” He grinned. “Maybe I should go down to the pool and check it out.”
“Jake!” Evan called. “Leon is on the phone. He needs to talk to you about the ’sixty-three Shelby Cobra.”
“I hate that car,” he muttered, heading back to his own room.
I fired up my laptop and tried to read some emails, but I couldn’t focus. All I could think about was Vada and that bikini. My dick refused to settle down.
“Fuck,” I grumbled, heading into the bathroom. I stripped down and took care of business under the ice-cold spray.
***
I glanced at my watch for the hundredth time.
How long had she been gone?
Evan would be pissed if we didn’t sit down for dinner at seven. He was an anal-retentive bitch when it came to routines.
I loved him for who he was, but sometimes I wished he would take a giant enema.
“Fuck it,” I mumbled, grabbing the room key from the table and heading out the door.
The outdoor pool was behind the main lobby. I exited through the back door and walked toward the terrace. Vada’s laughter floated through the balmy evening air.
I stopped when I spotted her sitting on the edge of the pool, her back to me.
She wasn’t alone!
A guy was in the water, standing between her spread thighs. I watched his hands caress her hips as he leaned in and kissed her.
What the actual fuck?
When I saw his hands slide up to her breasts, I knew I had to do something. I stepped out from behind a thick palm tree, clearing my throat loudly.
The guy glanced up at me with a look of annoyance, his hands still firmly planted on Vada’s tits. “Can I help you, dude? Are you lost?”
I glared at the punk kid. What a little asshole. He had to go.
“No, I’m not lost,” I informed him curtly. “I came to collect my daughter. My sixteen-year-old daughter.”
“Whoa,” he said, backing up with his hands in the air. “She told me she was twenty-four.”
“She lied, buddy. I suggest you hightail it out of here, unless you wanna spend the night in jail.”
He pushed himself up on the side of the pool, half-walking, half-running as he made a beeline for the door.
“Really, Garrett?” Vada sighed, grabbing her cover-up.
“That guy had his hands all over you.”
“So?”
“So?”
“Yeah. So?”
“That’s the type of guy you’re supposed to be staying away from, Vada. Have you forgotten what the last punk you went out with did to you?”
“You don’t even know him!”
“Neither do you!”
“We were getting to know each other before you scared him off!”
“You can’t sleep with other guys on this trip, Vada,” I warned. “That wasn’t part of the deal.”
“I never agreed to a sexual relationship with you guys, Garrett.”
“You agreed to go on a road trip with us, to get to know us better.”
“I’m sorry,” she said quietly, staring at her bare feet. “I don’t know what I was thinking. A hot guy started flirting with me, and I kinda forgot where I was.”
“You’re forgiven.”
She jerked her head up. “Really?”
“Yes.”
“Are you gonna tell Jake and Evan?”
“Nope,” I assured her. “It will be our little secret.”
“Wow. Thanks, Garrett. You’re a nice guy.”
“I know.”
“I think you deserve to be rewarded for your loyalty.”
“I didn’t do it to get something in return,” I said hoarsely.
“I know,” she whispered, walking toward me until she was standing directly in front of me.
I licked my lips, swallowing noisily as she gazed at me. She reached up and pulled my head down before she took possession of my lips with a hungry kiss, plunging her tongue inside my waiting mouth.
My hands rose to cup the back of her head, a strangled groan escaping my throat as I explored the inside of her mouth with firm strokes.
“You’re a pretty good kisser, Garrett Mitchell,” she murmured.
“Pretty good?” I laughed.
“You were unprepared,” she said. “I took you by surprise. I’ll give you another chance when we get back to the room.”
“Oh, will you now?” I laughed. “And who made you the kissing expert?”
“I’ve had lots of practice,” she said, pulling away before she went in search of her sandals.
“As have I, sweetheart.”
I tried not to stare at her nipples in the cold elevator, but they were hard to miss, poking through her bikini like little erasers. She smirked while I stared unabashedly.
When the elevator reached our floor, we walked down the hall in silence.
“I’m gonna change,” she said, heading for her open suitcase. “Where are we going for dinner?”
“Some steakhouse.”
“Oh good,” she said with a wicked grin. “I do enjoy a quality cut of meat.”
“Is that so?” I chuckled.
“Yep.” She winked before sashaying into the bathroom, her ass wiggling provocatively.
I dropped onto the end of the bed, my dick quivering with anticipation.
She said she’d give you another chance to kiss her. She didn’t say she was going to fuck you tonight. Settle down. It’s her first night with you old horndogs. Give the girl some space.
Twenty minutes passed. I couldn’t hear the water running anymore, or any sounds at all. I stood up and walked over to the door.
Was she crying?
I tapped lightly on the door. “Vada? Are you okay?”
“No!” she cried.
“What’s wrong?”
“Nothing.”
“Can I come in?”
Silence.
“Vada?”
“Yeah?”
“Are you okay?”
“No.”
“Can I come in?”
“Okay.”
I turned the handle, opening the door slowly. She was curled up in a ball on the floor, her body trembling with sobs. And she wasn’t wearing anything but a bra and a pink thong.
“Did you fall?” I asked, scratching the back of my head as I glanced around the messy bathroom.
The countertop was littered with makeup and girl crap. Her bikini was in the middle of the floor on a pile of wet towels.
“No. I’m not old.”
“Accidents can happen to anyone.”
“I didn’t fall, Garrett.”
“Then why are you on the floor, crying your eyes out?”
“Because I’m a whore!” she howled.
“What?”
“I’m a cheap slut! My most valuable asset is my cunt! All I’m good for is spreading my legs!”
“Shh,” I hissed, a laugh escaping my throat despite my best efforts to contain it. “The walls are pretty thin. The entire floor can probably hear you.”
“Oh well,” she muttered. “You might as well invite every guy in the motel to our room. They can all have a turn.”
“Stop that,” I ordered. “Where is all this coming from?”
“I was making out with a stranger at the pool. If you hadn’t come along, I probably would’ve gone back to his room and fucked him.”
“Do you do that kind of thing often?”
“No.”
“Then why did you do it today?”
“I don’t know,” she whispered. “I guess I was horny.”
“You’re traveling with three men who all want to fuck you,” I laughed. “I don’t get it.”
“You guys are my dad’s best friends. It feels wrong.”
I knelt down next to her, rubbing her bare shoulder. “I know. I’m struggling with the same doubts. But it’s not like your dad doesn’t know. He wants you to be with us.”
“What kind of father hands over his daughter to three men who like to share women?”
“Your dad is the most open-minded, accepting person I’ve ever known. He doesn’t judge. And he loves you more than anything in the world.
“He wants you to be with men who will treat you with respect. Men who will cherish you and love you, not just use you for your body and then discard you like a piece of garbage, or beat you.”
“I’m only twenty-four. Why the big urgency?”
“He knew we were ready to take a wife. And he was afraid of the path you were heading down. The timing made sense.”
“He didn’t think I could find a decent man on my own?”
“You do attract some real winners,” I teased.
I tried not to look at her tits when she sat up. But they were right there, spilling out of her lacy pink bra.
“Are all your bras pink?” I blurted out.
“No.”
“We want you for more than just sex, Vada,” I whispered.
“You do?”
“Yes, silly girl,” I said, kissing the tip of her nose. “We want a woman to cook and clean and carry our babies.”
“Garrett!”
“I’m just kidding,” I laughed. “You know me. That’s what I do.”
“But you do want those things.”
“Jake does all the cooking. And we have a cleaning lady.”
“Do you have a surrogate to carry the babies?”
“No. We want you to carry our babies.”
“I’m a hot mess. You guys should find a woman with her head screwed on straight.”
“We don’t want any other woman, Vada,” I murmured, kissing her softly on the lips. “We chose you.”
She locked her arms around my neck, her lips parting to welcome my tongue. My fingers skated over her ribs, caressing the underside of her breasts.
She moaned hungrily, sucking on my tongue when my thumbs found her pert nipples poking through the lace on her bra.
“We should get dressed for dinner,” I whispered between kisses.
“Okay,” she said. “You’re a really good kisser, Garrett.”
“I told you so.”
