It’s been a while since we last visited Russia. I’ve been yearning to return for years, to see more of the country where Max and Dimitri hail from. We rented a house in Tuapse, right on the Black Sea. The goal was to spend more time together, so we left Evie and Anton with Ryan and Varina for the two weeks we planned to be here.
Max and Dimitri spent months preparing for this trip. I suspect they’re just as excited as I am, but they’re not keen on admitting or showing it.
“This house is gorgeous,” I exclaimed in awe as we walked through the door. It’s larger than what we need, but Max and Dimitri never skimp on vacations.
“Glad you like it, Myshka.” Even after all these years, the nickname still makes my heart flutter.
“What do you want to do first? Go boating or swim in the pool?” Max asked.
“Boating.” The decision was easy. I’ve never been, and knowing Max and Dimitri, I was certain the boat would be spectacular.
“You have ten minutes to get ready,” Dimitri instructed.

I wasn’t wrong. The boat was more like a small house. It boasted two bedrooms, a kitchen, and a full bathroom. There was an upper deck and the main deck, and, of course, a captain and someone to wait on us.
I was on the upper deck, admiring the coast, when Max joined me. I felt his presence before he spoke—a comforting and familiar energy.
“I think you found your favorite place on the boat, little bee.” His Russian accent has faded over the years, but the raspy tone still sends shivers down my spine. I leaned into his embrace, feeling the warmth of his body against mine.
“Mhmm,” I murmured as his arms encircled my waist.

I closed my eyes and tilted my head to give him more access. “Why did you wait?”
“It wouldn’t be fair to keep you locked up in a house when you’ve never been here before.”
“If you made it worth my time, I don’t think I would mind,” I teased.
“I can always make it worth your time.” Max slipped his hand into my bikini bottoms and slid his fingers through my folds.
