My dear Lords, Ladies and Gentlemen of the ton,
While the marriage of Lady Harriet Fitzroy to the Earl of Beaufort has created a storm indeed, it has not distracted us from the pursuit of naming Society’s Most Scandalous.
It seems that, as usual, George Claremont, the Marquess of Curran, is working to take the hallowed Claremont name and make it ever more associated with his many and various improprieties! This Season has seen him sneaking out of nearly every ball he’s attended before the evening has ended. It appears he is associating with women in scarlet in the streets, while hunting for a wife at the fêtes!
