Aero
āUghh . . . ā
Iām leaning against the wall of the throne room, grunting. My pants are unzipped, my erection free.
Sweat is gathering on my forehead as I realize the tricky situation Iām in.
This woman, dangerously close, has a firm grip on my cock. Itās like sheās already claimed it with her confident touch.
I want to push her away, but something inside me stops me. Maybe itās my wolf or my lycan identities. Yes, that must be it.
Theyāre enjoying this moment way too much.
āFuck you,ā I snap, glaring at her.
She just laughs and starts stroking my shaft.
Inside, Iām howling like a sex-starved animal.
Which I am.
I canāt deny it.
Fuck you, I said. I meant it to push her away, but if Iām honest with myself, yes, I want to take her. To throw her on the floor and fuck her werewolf-style all night long.
Iām so close to doing just that.
āYou sure are very colorful with your words, Your Majesty,ā she says, laughing a little.
I feel humiliated. Iām melting under this womanās touch, and I hate it.
āWhat? Fuck me?ā she asks, looking up at me while she squeezes my shaft. āYou mean to fuck me?ā
āUrghh . . . ā I grunt again, loving the sensation sheās giving me.
āShould I take that as a yes?ā she asks, a sly grin on her face.
āYou are a witch . . . Or a . . . a fae. Only witches and faes have . . . this much sexual . . . appeal,ā I manage to say between breaths.
āOh, really?ā she scoffs. āAre you sure Iām not a succubus demon or a mermaid? They exude the same, you know.ā
Her strokes become harder and faster. Despite how much I hate this situation, I love the feel of her hand around my cock. Shit. I canāt stop her now.
Iām on the edge of release.
āFuck . . . woman. Fuāck!ā And I come.
Itās explosive.
My cum splashes on her hands and my royal suit. The smell of semen fills the air around us.
The fact that she made me orgasm should disgust me, but it doesnāt. In fact, I fucking love it.
āOh, my king.ā She leans in and whispers in my ear, āLove me or hate me, Iām already on your mind. I win. You lose.ā
My jaw tightens. I take a sharp breath.
She had to say that. She really had to say that.
Without hesitation, I grab her elbows and pull her close to me.
āI donāt mind losing if itās with you, woman,ā I say, finally letting those words out from my stubborn subconscious mind.
***
My eyes snap open at the sound of birds chirping nearby.
Iām disoriented at first, but as my surroundings become clearer, I realize Iām back in my chamber, on my bed, not in that damn throne room where a woman just dominated me.
Hell.
I hate being dominated. I'm the Alpha King after all.
But, on the bright side, the woman in my dream isn't just any woman.
Itās Serena.
My true mate, my official queen, and my luna.
And this isnāt a dream. Iām in reality; a reality Iāve come to enjoy and love.
With a grin, I slowly turn to face her. Sheās still sleeping so peacefully beside meāso beautiful and so perfect. And sheās mine. All mine.
Still feeling hot and bothered by my erotic dream, my cock hardens and pokes her waist.
She may be sleeping soundly now, but not for long. I plan to be the dominant one this morning, giving us both a few orgasms before I attend the leadersā meeting in Agotta.
***
I sit silently at a round table, waiting for the rest of the leaders to take their seats. Queen Adna is already with me, sitting at my right, while the King of Sattus sits at my left.
Theyāre the two leaders who can vouch for me. The third one, Lady Yllana, who now shows her older skin, gives me a look across the table and nods, telling me itās time.
Time for what?
Well, time for all the leaders to know what happened in the Baltic Meadows a month after the great battle between the Kingdoms of Phanteon and Ehnrelil.
All the leaders are present, and this includes Governor Marius dela Forte of Earth. We exchange brief introductory stares before I turn my attention to the High Witch.
āEveryone, thank you for your presence here today,ā Lady Yllana begins.
āAgotta, the realm of the witches, warmly welcomes you and hopes you enjoy your two-day stay here.
āAs a neutral faction ever since the realms were created, I decided to host this meeting for several reasons:
āOne, to understand the situation in Ehnrelilāthe late King Geradenās betrayal and schemes.
āTwo, to understand the situation leading to the events of the great war between Phanteon and Ehnrelil.
āThree, to discuss more about transparency between realms and the strengthening of the bond between each realm.
āFour, the case of this mating system our realms have; and lastly, the introduction of a new representative of Earth.ā
Her head turns to the fae queen as she says, āQueen Adna, you may proceed.ā
The one addressed stands up as regally as she always does, with her golden long hair flowing and her fae garb shimmering.
Iām not a fan of the shimmering, so I shut my eyes and listen to her story.
āListen up, everyone. Iām going to tell you about Ehnrelilās downfall,ā she starts, her voice like a soft melody.
She begins with Geradenās betrayal, how he killed his own brotherāthe King of Ehnrelil and her mateāwith his daughterās help.
Then she tells us how he made the murder look like a werewolf did it... specifically General Halcynos, because he had a personal grudge against him.
I can feel the leadersā eyes on me at this point, but I just ignore them. Itās the generalās story to tell, not mine.
Queen Adna goes on to say that Geraden poisoned the minds of the fae people, starting with her and the high elders.
He used the kingdomās grief and anger to his advantage, stirring up a war against my kingdom.
His hatred for werewolves and lycans was so strong that he wanted my kind wiped out, even if it meant sacrificing his own people.
What a petty bastard.
Queen Adna brings up Serena too, or Ysanna in their language. She speaks so highly of my mate that I canāt help but smile.
Of course, I think to myself, my mate was the savior they needed.
āI admit, Iāve been weak and vulnerable since my mate, King Alduin, died,ā she says, her voice tinged with sadness. āAnd because of this, Geraden easily manipulated me.ā
āMy mistake almost cost my people their lives, and thatās not acceptable. I should have stayed strong, and I shouldnāt have let him fool me.ā
Sheās right, and I respect her for admitting her mistakes. I would probably have lost my mind if my queen had met the same fate.
āSerena, the new queen of Ehnrelil and the current queen of Phanteon, pulled me out of Geradenās darkness,ā Queen Adna continues.
āAnd with King Aeroās help,āāI feel her hand on my shoulder, and I look upāāthe fae kingdom is saved.ā
āI was just supporting my wife like a mate should,ā I reply, sitting up straighter.
āSerena, as you all know, is part werewolf and part fae. She lives in two worlds, and she loves her dual identity. Itās thanks to her that Phanteon and Ehnrelil were saved.ā
āYouāre lucky to have such a strong, beautiful queen, Your Majesty,ā Hale chimes in, looking at me with amusement in his bloodshot eyes.
Damn him. He just had to remind me of his role in the war.
He had injured so many faes at that time that some of my wolves complained about itācomplained about not getting their share of the fun, that is.
I shoot him a look thatās almost a glare and reply, āYes, I am.ā
ā²And sheās mine forever. Find your own woman.ā² I want to add, but I hold back. Iām surrounded by VIPs, after all.
Even though they know about the tension between werewolves and vampires, I still have to behave myself.
āThank you for your statements, Queen Adna, King Aero,ā says Lord Mage Aizen, my close mage friend, as he stands up.
Heās wearing his official mage robe of emerald green and blackāitās too majestic for my taste, but with his dark hair loose, he looks like a brooding mage who didnāt get lucky last night.
āNow, to continue, the events in their kingdoms have taught us a valuable lesson. We need to strengthen the bond between realms. We canāt let this happen again.ā
He places both of his hands on the table and it suddenly glows with blue and yellow light.
As always, he likes visuals in his presentations, and thatās what heās doing now as he quickly goes over the history of our realms.
āWe all know that our realms were created not a millennium ago.ā
A spark of gold and silver appears in the center of the round table as the roomās light dims. Then the spark transforms into a galaxy.
āWe all have our own stories about our first ancestorsāif applicableābut we all agree that we used to live in one big world.ā
If applicable, he says, because most of the ancestors are still alive today.
Weāre not sure if theyāre immortalālike Lady Yllana, Prince Andreiās busy father, Lord Mage Aizen himself, the King of Sattus, and Lord Jacobiās elusive queen, Queen Demantha.
But itās generally understood that theyāll eventually pass their responsibilities on to their successors.
āIn the beginning, we lived together in harmony, but differences come with a price,ā Lord Mage Aizen continues.
āThe humans started to envy us supernatural beings, and misunderstandings arose between creatures. This created a divide in all relationships.
āTo solve this, we all agreed to create our own homes, places where we could be free and be ourselves. And so, the pillars for the realms were created.ā
Pillars, yes.
Literal, glowing ones.
The first ancestors, along with the current rulers and representativesāKing Lucien, Queen Adna, Marius dela Forte, Lord Hale, and Iāmaintain the pillars.
With our powers, we keep the pillars standing and, in turn, protect the balance between our worlds.
One of those pillars is in the highest tower of Phanteonās castle. My father used his powers to maintain it while he was alive, and now that responsibility is mine.
Lord Mage Aizen looks at Hale and me and continues, āThis is why our bond needs to be stronger. As much as weād like to, we canāt exist alone.
āWe each have a role in supporting and protecting our homes... our kingdoms. We canāt let a battle like that happen again.ā
āWe all understand the importance of this,ā I say seriously, ābut our people probably donāt. At least, not all of them. Thatās why I think itās our responsibility to make them understand.
āGeraden and Nevannir are prime examples of misguided faes. They were so consumed by their desire to be kings and rule a superior kingdom that they didnāt see how their quarrels with Phanteon would only lead to their downfall.ā
āWe need to be on the lookout for people like them. Stay alert, recognize the signs of danger, and always be oneāor better yet, a hundredāsteps ahead.ā
āYouāre right, Your Majesty,ā King Lucien agrees. āAs leaders, we need to watch over our people with caution, but also with trust and a level head.ā
āTrust is a rare commodity where I come from, King Lucien,ā Hale points out, which isnāt surprising. Everyone knows heās been struggling with the human-slave-trading issue in his territory.
Normally, this would have set off alarm bells for all of us, but we trust that heās got everything under control, except for this one problem thatās been consuming him for years. Itās his undoing.
āAnd in my realm as well,ā Prince Andrei interrupts, pulling me from my thoughts. His demon realm is always in turmoil. Itās home to a lot of sick, twisted creatures.
āWe know, Prince Andrei, Lord Hale,ā Lady Yllana says. āThatās why open communication is crucial. If you need our help, donāt hesitate to ask.ā
āAll in favor of this, please raise your hand,ā Lord Mage Aizen calls out, his hand already in the air.
We all follow suit, our eyes filled with determination.
āGood,ā he nods. āWeāll come up with a foolproof plan tomorrow. For now, letās move on with the rest of the agenda.ā
āYes,ā Lady Yllana stands up again. āNext, we all know about King Aeroās hatred of women and the recent discovery of his true mate, which led to a change of heart.
āHis journey to love has spanned realms and inspired many. This leads us to discuss the mating system of the Universe.ā
āWe donāt have solid proof of how this system works, Lady Yllana,ā Lord Jacobi reminds her.
A crack appears in her usually composed faƧade, revealing her sadness. She has her own history with this mate bond thing, but I didnāt pay attention when Elijah mentioned it to me.
āI know, and I suppose itās safer to say itās best left as a mystery,ā she continues.
āThe Universe itself is a mystery. No one knows if or how it chooses two individuals to be mates, but we still need to look for clues.ā
āLike King Aero and Queen Serenaās crescent moon tattoos on their wrists. Thatās solid evidence,ā the King of Sattus chimes in.
āExcellent point, Your Highness,ā Lady Yllana replies, giving him a pleased smile.
āHowever, their situation is unique, unless...ā she turns to look at me with a raised eyebrow, āthis is happening in your kingdom, Your Majesty?ā
āNot that Iām aware of,ā I answer tersely, ābut Iāll look into it.ā
I never gave much thought to the crescent moon tattoos. I always assumed they were unique to Serena and me. But with Lady Yllana bringing it up, I might need to investigate further.
āThis is something we need to figure out in our respective realms,ā Lord Mage Aizen says, his hands clasped on the table.
āAgreed,ā King Lucien seconds. āOnce we understand the mating system in each realm, we can share our findings here.ā
āThatās sound advice, Your Majesty,ā Queen Adna says, her mint-green eyes twinkling with longing for the late King Alduin, no doubt.
āThis topic is hereby tabled,ā Lady Yllana announces, banging the gavel like a judge delivering a verdict.
āNow, for our final itemāGovernor Marius, the floor is yours.ā
I watch as he stands up and straightens his coat. Iāve been on the council long enough to witness his journey.
I was here when he was first introduced to us decades ago, and Iāve seen his contributions to the realms, especially in Serenaās life as a human. Itāll be sad to see him go, but itās for the best.
Heās getting too old for this jobāand I mean that in Earth years.
āEveryone, my time as the representative of Earth has come to an end.ā He squares his shoulders and looks each of us in the eye.
āIāve served my world and the realms for the past forty years with progress. I have no regrets about stepping down now.
āTo succeed me, I introduce you to Viscount Daniel Bishop, Viscount of Everdeen in the United Kingdom and a prominent man of his time.ā
He turns and gestures for someone to enter. From another room, a tall man, obviously younger than the governor, steps in. Heās dressed in a full suit and polished boots.
He gives us all a tight-lipped smile thatās all business.
The viscount stands beside the governor, exuding confidence. I can tell right away heās nothing like the down-to-earth Marius.
Plus, he smells of chemicals and fuel. Two things I find repulsive whenever I visit Earth.
āI assume youāve taught him everything he needs to know about us, Marius?ā Lord Jacobi asks, scrutinizing the new representative.
āYes, Lord Jacobi, heās well-informed.ā The governor nods.
āPlease, allow me to introduce myself.ā The viscount raises a hand and dips his head slightly.
āI am Daniel Bishop, Viscount of Everdeen, but you can drop the title. Iām here to serve the realms. Iām honored to be the next representative of Terranis.ā
āGood. Welcome to the circle, Viscount Daniel. We wish you the best in your new role,ā Lord Jacobi replies.
He stands and approaches him, passing Lady Yllana and Lord Mage Aizen to reach him.
āThank you, Lord Jacobi.ā Viscount Daniel dips his head again as they shake hands.
The others opt for a quick nod in his direction. I follow suit.
New faces mean change, and change means trust. He has to show me he's worth it before I can trust him.
The rest of the meeting is a blur of pointless chatter, mostly about the new Earth representative. I tune it out. I'm more interested in what my beautiful wife is up to in Ehnrelil.
āSerena, fancy keeping your husband company?ā I send a mind-link, keeping my grin hidden from the leaders in front of me.
āHmm... already bored, my king?ā she shoots back in no time.
āLike you wouldn't believe,ā I reply.
āWell, I hate to break it to you, but I canāt help. Iām a little tied up here.ā
From the background, I catch the sound of her footsteps echoing on a hard floor. It paints a picture in my mind of her inside Ehnrelilās crystal palace, or somewhere similar.
āWhere are you?ā I ask, curiosity piqued about her location. Then I hear two male voices in the background. My brow furrows.
āSerena? Who are you with?ā
āIām sorry, Aero, but I have to go. Weāll talk later.ā
Just like that, she shuts me out of her mind.
I mutter under my breath, drawing suspicious glances from Queen Adna and the King of Sattus.
Damn...
When will this meeting finally be over?
