Manik was perched on the edge of the bus stop bench, anticipation buzzing in his veins. He glanced at his phone again, then dialed a number.
“I’m here. How much longer, babu?” he asked, his voice gentle.
“Give it another ten minutes, Mani,” came the reply, her voice husky, as if she’d just woken up.
“Ten more minutes? I can’t wait that long!”
She chuckled. “It’s a bus, Mani. I can’t make it go faster. Patience, my dear.”
“You’re going to pay for this, babu, and I’ll make sure it’s a steep price.”
“I like it hard…and fast,” she murmured.
“Babu, don’t test my patience. You won’t like the consequences. I might have to punish you.”
“Will you?” she asked, her voice filled with hope.
Manik’s breath hitched and he groaned. “Nandini, don’t push me,” he warned, but she only laughed harder.
The bus pulled up and a stunning girl with long hair, chubby cheeks, full lips, doe eyes, and a radiant smile stepped off.
Manik approached her, took her bag, and secured it on his Royal Enfield. He climbed on and said, “Hop on, Nandini. We need to get going. Fast.”
She grinned at his urgency and slid onto the seat beside him, leaning to one side.
He frowned. “What are you doing, babu?” he asked, his voice dripping with sweetness.
“What did I do, Mani?” she replied, feigning innocence.
“Really, babu! Alright then.” He revved the bike and she tumbled against his back. He smirked.
She swatted his back. “Manik,” she scolded softly.
He felt a familiar tightening in his pants. “Just five minutes, babu. Then I’ll show you what you did,” he said through gritted teeth.
They arrived at an apartment complex, and Manik scanned the area. Seeing no one, he grabbed Nandini’s bag and led her to the first door on the first floor. He hurriedly unlocked it, ushered her inside, and locked it behind them.
He dropped the bag and placed his hands on his hips, taking a deep breath. Nandini, too exhausted to argue, raised an eyebrow.
Manik seized her wrist and pulled her to him, then began to kiss her passionately. He explored her mouth, one hand tangled in her hair, the other pressing into her waist.
Nandini wrapped her arms around him tightly.
When he noticed she was struggling for breath, he pulled back. She glared at him, but before she could speak, he was kissing her again, as if he were starving.
And why wouldn’t he be? He’d been waiting for this moment for a year. He’d been begging Nandini to come to Pune, and she’d always had an excuse.
But she’d finally agreed. He’d been ecstatic, immediately booking her a ticket from Mumbai to Pune and meticulously planning everything.
Manik and Nandini had been childhood sweethearts, but when Nandini’s father asked Manik to marry her, Manik requested a two-year delay to establish his business.
Nandini, her pride wounded, had refused and married Raj Kapoor instead.
Manik was shattered. He’d lost everything that day.
After her wedding, Nandini had visited him—to find him drowning in alcohol and high on weed.
She’d cried, cleared out all the alcohol, drugs, and cigars from his place, and asked his mother, Nyeonika, to call her when he was sober.
The next morning, Manik had trashed his room and hurt himself. His mother had called Nandini, who’d rushed over.
Manik was about to smash his TV with his guitar when Nandini stepped in the way. The guitar struck her head, causing a gash. Manik was horrified. It had all happened so fast.
He dropped the broken guitar and rushed to her, and she looked at him, pain in her eyes.
“Are you satisfied?” she asked.
“Nandini! Are you crazy?” he cried, seeing the blood. “Why did you get in the way? I need to call a doctor. Please.”
“No! Let it bleed,” Nandini said, her voice firm, as she tried to pull away from him.
He held her tight. “What the hell? You’re hurt, Nandini! Stop being stubborn. Mom, call the doctor please.”
“Why? Let me die, right? You let me marry someone else, so why do you care now?”
“Nandini?” He felt his heart sink. “I…I begged your father, Nandini, but he wouldn’t listen.”
“Really?” she spat. “Are you now fulfilling your dream of running your business?”
“Nandini, we can argue later, but let me clean your wound and have my mom call a doctor. Please.” He was crying now, trying to stop the bleeding and blowing on the wound to soothe her.
“No. I won’t let you treat me.” She stood and tried to walk away.
“Like hell you won’t, Nandini! I’ll kill you if you walk away like this. Let me clean your wound.”
“No.”
“Please, I’m begging you. Please.”
“Then promise me you’ll stop this madness and focus on your business. Be the best businessman you can be—for me. You left me. Don’t abandon your business too, Manik,” she pleaded.
Manik felt his heart shatter. “I…I can’t…I can’t live without these things. They’re a habit. I’m addicted.”
“Alright, it’s settled then. You can have your vices, and I’ll find my own ways to hurt myself. I’m a housewife, Manik. I have plenty of tools at my disposal. Let’s see who lasts longer.”
Manik grabbed her by the shoulders, spinning her around to face him. She nearly stumbled, but Nyeonika was there to steady her.
“Don’t you dare even think about doing that, Nandini!” he yelled, his voice filled with fury.
“Oh, so only you get to play with your life like this? Hold on.” She shrugged off Nyeonika’s hold and walked over to the kitchen cabinets, pulling out a knife.
Manik was about to snatch the knife from her when she sliced her hand with such force that it left a deep cut.
Manik roared in anger. “Nandini! What kind of madness is this? What am I supposed to do now, Nandini?”
“Tell me you’ll stop all this. If not, I’ll cut myself again,” she threatened.
Manik looked at her, his eyes filled with fear and pain. This wasn’t the Nandini he knew. He forcefully took the knife from her hand. “Alright. I promise I’ll never touch these things again.”
Nandini took his hand. “Promise?” she asked, a small smile on her face.
“Promise.” He pulled her into a tight hug, tears streaming down his face.
The doctor came and treated her wound. Afterward, Manik sat beside her and asked, “How are you, Nandini? Is he treating you well?”
“Yes. I’m pregnant,” she said.
He closed his eyes, pain washing over him. “It should have been ours. Only ours.” Tears rolled down his cheeks.
“Manik, you need to move on. What’s done is done, and dwelling on it won’t change anything. Be happy for me, Manik.”
“Are you happy?”
“Yes.” She smiled.
Manik smiled back. “Okay. I will.”
After this incident, Manik focused on his business, Nandini gave birth to two children, and Manik married Veebha and had two children of his own.
One day, Manik had some work in Mumbai, so he decided to surprise Nandini since it had been a while since he’d seen her.
He didn’t tell her he was coming, just showed up at her place. When he asked the watchman about Nandini’s apartment, the man gave him a sad look. “She lives on the fourth floor. First apartment.”
Before he walked away, the watchman added, “Don’t ring the bell, just knock. If you wake him, he’ll start ranting again.”
Manik felt a sense of unease—he was confused and a little scared.
He quickly ran up to her apartment, and as he was about to knock, he heard a loud voice through the door.
“I’m not dead yet! It’s you and your father who should die! It’s because of you two that I became a drunkard. Why did I get stuck with you?”
“Should I serve the food?” Nandini’s soft voice asked.
There was a thud, followed by the sound of children crying.
“Baby, why are you crying? Papa loves you the most. Come here… See? You made her like this. She won’t even come to me. You ruined my life.”
“No! That was the alcohol,” Nandini retorted.
Then came the sound of a slap.
The voices continued, but Manik was numb. He left the gifts he’d brought for Nandini and her children at the door and walked away.
He wanted to kill the man who had hurt his girl, but he didn’t want to cause her more pain by being there.
The next day, when her husband was at work, Manik came back and confronted her.
“Please, Manik,” Nandini pleaded. “I can’t just leave. I have two kids and they love their father. When he’s sober, he’s a good man. It’s just the alcohol.
“I can’t just leave. He’ll change one day. Please believe me.”
“Believe you? How pathetic, Nandini! I moved on thinking you were happy. But we’re both living in hell. What’s the point?”
“Kids, Manik! You have two and I have two. We can’t be so cruel as to keep our children away from one of their parents.”
“I want you in my life, Nandini. Come back.”
“Like it’s that simple? Let it go, Manik. Come, let’s have lunch.”
“No, Nandini. Let’s have an affair,” he said, his voice filled with determination.
“What?” she nearly screamed.
“Yes! A long-distance relationship. We’ll support each other emotionally, physically, financially. Let’s beat this fate that’s been beating us. Whenever we get the chance, we’ll meet, but we’ll also talk every day.”
“But Manik—”
He pulled her into his arms and kissed her passionately, pouring all his love for her into it.
The doorbell rang, and they pulled away from each other just as her children walked in.
From that day on, they talked to each other every day for hours.
She became his rock, as Manik’s wife was only interested in his money, and he used his connections to get Raj Kapoor transferred to the main branch of his office.
With his bosses always around, Nandini’s husband couldn’t drink anymore and started treating her better.
But Manik wanted Nandini. He’d dreamed of being with her since he was a teenager, and now that things were settling down, he wanted her completely. He kept his distance from his wife, determined to save himself for Nandini.
And now, after a year of trying, she’d finally come to Pune and was in his arms, kissing him.
Manik lifted her without breaking their kiss and carried her to the bedroom. She blushed.
“Nandini, I want you so badly.”
“Me too, Manik, but let me freshen up and take a shower first.”
“I can’t wait anymore. I want to see you, to explore you.” He began to undress her, but she suddenly started to resist.
Manik frowned, looking at her. “What’s wrong? Should we stop?”
“I …I mean, I’m now…” Nandini struggled to find the words.
Manik smiled. “I don’t care if you’re out of shape, Nandini, or if you’ve gained a little weight. You’re beautiful, and you’ll always be beautiful to me.”
He continued undressing her until she was completely bare. She tried to cover herself, but Manik shook his head. “No. Don’t. Let me see all of you, which I’ve been longing to do for so long.”
She closed her eyes, and Manik’s sparkled with desire. “You don’t know, Nandini, how beautiful you are. If you could see yourself through my eyes, you would understand. Let me touch you, let me give you pleasure. Please.”
Nandini looked at him with admiration. He kissed her again, then removed his T-shirt and track pants, along with his underwear.
Nandini shyly turned away.
“Nandu!” Manik said. “Look what you’ve done to me. Tell me, what will make you lose yourself in pleasure?”
Nandini shook her head, and Manik gently turned her back toward him. “Don’t be shy. Explore me. I want your full attention, so don’t be shy, baby. Come on, see me,” he said softly.
She slowly looked at him, then started to lower her gaze.
Her gaze was enough to make Manik twitch, and his dick stood erect. He groaned in pain, then took her hand and placed it on his member. She shivered, and he flinched at her warm touch.
“I can’t control myself any longer. Let me inside.”
He hovered over her and looked into her eyes. “Just this once, let me go raw. I know you’re already wet. Next time we’ll play.”
She nodded.
He positioned himself at her entrance. “Just breathe, Nandu.”
“This isn’t my first time, Manik,” she said with a giggle.
“Achha.” He just entered his tip, and she hissed in pain and held his shoulders to stop him, tears welling up in her eyes.
“Get it now?” he said, kissing her eyes. “My dick isn’t human-sized, which is why I warned you, baby. I know you’ve been starving for ages, because I also know that Raj Kapoor became impotent due to excessive alcohol consumption.”
More tears welled up in her eyes. “You know that?”
“Yes.” He pushed in more.
“Manik, it’s hurting me!”
“It will, baby. It’s starving for you. It’s just heaven, Nandu. Breathe. Come, take it fully,” he encouraged.
She took a sharp breath, and taking this as an opportunity, Manik thrust harshly. “Good girl,” he said when she gasped in pain and shock. “Shhhhh, baby. See? I’m in. Come on, breathe.”
She took shallow breaths and tried to relax.
“Come on, look at me. I don’t want just sex, Nandu—I want to make love to you in a way you’ll never forget. I won’t be gentle, nor will I let you be. Come on, let me take you to heaven.” He winked, and she blushed.
He pulled out and felt her relax, but in no time he filled her again. “How is it, baby? Do you know now what you made me?” he asked with excitement.
He did it again, and she gasped and panted, her pussy on fire. It was still painful, but at the same time, she felt so aroused that she couldn’t handle more.
“Manik! Stop, I may… Oh god, please!”
Manik took one of her nipples between his thumb and forefinger and started to rub it roughly.
“Don’t cum yet, Nandini. We’ve barely started. We’re just playing. Come on, look at me,” he said, then took the nub in his mouth and sucked harshly.
She felt pain but also more aroused.
He took it between his teeth and pulled it softly, but when his sharp teeth scraped her, she almost lost it, tightening her walls around his dick.
“Baby, look at me,” Manik groaned. “I said na, we’re just getting started.” And this time he thrust harshly.
She hissed. “You’re an animal!”
“You made me an animal, baby.” He started to move rapidly, and she tried to catch her breath. But he was nowhere close to slowing down.
“Manik! Aaaaaah!”
“Wow, Nandini, your sounds are making me even more greedy. Come on, give opposite thrust, baby,” he said, finally slowing.
“What does that mean?” she asked innocently.
“I push in and out, and you move your hips in the opposite direction. So if I’m out, you move your hips up. If I push in, you move down.”
“I don’t know, Manik,” she said, feeling embarrassed.
Manik placed one hand under her hip and moved for her until she understood. She moved her hips slowly. He smiled. “Good. Come on.”
He made little moves, and she matched him. He started moving faster, and she did too. The room filled with the music of their skin, a sound that Manik found incredibly erotic.
Nandini was totally lost in his moves. When she couldn’t take any more, she started to shiver and become rigid.
Manik understood. “Let it go, baby. Give it to me, come on.” He gave her stronger thrusts, and the whole bed moved noisily with him.
She couldn’t take any more.
He rubbed her clitoris and she shivered and milked his dick, her expression of release making him loose his seed in her. They both screamed.
“You look sexy when you cum for me, baby,” he said, panting and lying on her body, which smelled strongly of sweat and her scent. He inhaled deeply.
“Manik, I love you,” she managed to say, her breaths coming out in sharp gasps.
“Baby, I’ve always been in love with you,” he confessed. “And I’ll love you forever.”
