A simple dare in the dark turns into a bubbling game of charm and courage when Yasmin and her friends cross paths with Sam—a man who never backs down from a challenge. What starts as a teasing “I dare you” quickly slides into a flirtatious back-and-forth where no one wants to lose, but everyone’s secretly hoping the other will take it one step further. Sparks fizz, laughter spills, and the line between fun and feeling starts to blur. It’s playful. It’s daring. And it’s the kind of moment that lingers long after the bubbles fade. Who knew a dare could feel this electric?
Fire & Frost
“Okay… I admit, this was the best idea you’ve had. Ever. You were right.”
Yasmin smiled at the compliment, her eyes closed as she melted into the almost blistering water of the spa. The vapors swirling around them were a mix of steam from the spa and fog from the snowy landscape outside.
Jayda had needed some heavy prompting and prodding to agree to climb into the spa with Yasmin, and of course, Yasmin was right. It was amazing.
“Aren’t I always right, though?” Yasmin laughed.
She was the carefree one between the two women—the one who jumped right into the unknown, the adventurous one, the one who would almost always say yes.
Jayda, on the other hand, was the yin to her yang. She was hesitant, cautious, and would rather be safe than sorry.
Jayda rolled her eyes—not that Yasmin could see, with her eyes still closed. “Yeah, yeah, yeah…” She laughed.
The two friends sipped their wine and enjoyed the quiet of their snow chalet.
Normally, this spa deck would be open to the rest of the shared house-style chalet, but it was low season. Jayda and Yasmin seemed to be the only ones who had booked in so far.
“You need to let loose more often,” Yasmin said. “You stand back way too much. You’ll miss out on life if you keep letting it pass you by. How often have you only done things because I encouraged you to?”
Jayda scoffed with amusement. “More like shoved and peer pressured me into.”
“Yeah, sure, whatever. Same thing. My point is”—Yasmin shrugged, taking another sip of her wine—“you need to just say yes. Say yes to the next thing that comes your way. You’re in your thirties, single, gorgeous, and…scared shitless of the world.”
Jayda laughed and splashed the bubbling water at Yasmin. “Thanks a lot!”
Yasmin laughed along with her and drained her glass. “If the shoe fits…!”
She watched Jayda finish off her wine as well and nodded toward their empty wine bottle. “I’ll open another one. Hang here. I’ll grab a snack as well.”
Jayda nodded and slipped down further into the bubbling water, eyes closing once again in relaxation.
Yasmin braced herself for the cold, climbed out of the water, quickly tossed her towel around her shoulders, and bolted across the stone deck toward the warm interior of the chalet.
Yasmin was holding a wine bottle in one hand and searching through their meager array of snacks when a throat cleared behind her.
“Well, that wasn’t a sight I was expecting when I arrived here. Not that I’m complaining.”
Yasmin jumped and spun around to find herself face-to-face with a handsome stranger. “Goddamn, you scared the shit out of me!”
The stranger laughed awkwardly and stepped back, leaning his hip against the kitchen counter. “Sorry! I thought you were a friend of mine. I normally stay here with some friends too, but I guess they aren’t here yet. I didn’t realize there would be others here as well. I’m Sam.”
Yasmin’s eyes slowly took in the stranger in front of her. Dirty blonde hair, matching stubble, and what she could assume was a toned body beneath the warm knitted sweater.
Despite the bulk of the sweater, it still clung to him and showed off his athletic physique.
“You’re not some bad guy who’s going to kill me, are you?” she half-joked, keeping eye contact as she continued bending down to snatch a pack of chocolates—the first thing she felt in the pantry.
Sam chuckled. “I’m only bad when I want to be.” He winked. “But overall? No, you don’t have to worry about me being a serial killer.”
Seemingly satisfied, Yasmin shrugged in acceptance. “Okay, then. Good enough for me.” She nodded her head toward the spa deck. “Come out and meet Jayda, in case you scare the shit out of her by accident too. She’s not as accepting of a random guy surprising her from behind as I am.”
Though she meant it literally—referring to what had happened moments ago—there was a slight sexual undertone to her remark.
Sam must’ve picked up on it, because he smirked and held out a hand to the side, gesturing for her to lead the way. He didn’t exactly hide his matching, lazy perusal of Yasmin’s goosebumped body as she passed, but it didn’t come off as sleazy—just curious and appreciative.
The frosty bite of the chilly outdoors stung their skin once they stepped outside, and Jayda turned to face them.
At the first sight of Sam, she gasped and ducked lower until the bubbling spa water reached her neck.
“Uhh…Yasmin?”
“Jayda, this is Sam. Sam, Jayda,” Yasmin introduced, waving the wine bottle back and forth. “I know, I know, not the snack I was originally intending to bring back…but who’s complaining.”
Sam laughed and began explaining that he was also staying at the chalet, like he normally did each year.
It must’ve been the mix of wine, the relaxing atmosphere, and Sam’s easygoing attitude, but it didn’t take long for Yasmin to start pressuring Sam into joining them.
“You’re ruining the fun, Sam!” Yasmin laughed. “Join us, rather than sitting over there and shivering your cute ass off!”
“I came here to snowboard!” he laughed back, hands raised in surrender. “I didn’t bring any swimwear!”
Yasmin rolled her eyes while Jayda continued to laugh.
“Then just strip down to your underwear! Or skinny dip! Oh, actually…do that! I dare you!”
Yasmin had been pouring more and more wine into Jayda’s glass the whole time they were getting to know one another, and she was utterly on par with her charismatic friend.
Jayda joined in with Yasmin’s chanting, laughing, “Take it off!” while Sam failed to find a reason not to join.
An uttered “ah, fuck it” was barely heard over the girls’ giggling, and once Sam stood to pull his knitted jumper and shirt off, their cheers of delight rang out into the mountain air.
He was down to his boxers when the girls cheered him to keep going. He laughed and snapped the waistband teasingly.
“I’ll take it off if you ladies join me. No need for me to be the only one here naked.”
Yasmin bit her lip in excitement, eyeing Sam’s thumb as it played teasingly with the elastic of his waistband.
The material did nothing to hide his bulge, decadently large even without stirring.
“Tit for tat, huh?” Yasmin asked with a smile.
“Tit is exactly what he’s going for!” Jayda laughed freely, her usual reserve now gone with her inhibitions. Her eyes took in Sam’s pointed look at her friend. “I don’t blame him. I say it all the time, Yasmin, your boobs are to die for. I’d swap for yours any day.”
Yasmin had large, perky breasts—credit to her plastic surgeon—that appeared artfully natural. She rolled her eyes in reply, staring at Jayda’s naturally plump set.
“What for? I used a picture of yours as the example I wanted done by my surgeon. Yours are peak tits, and mine are literally designed off yours!”
Sam had sat at the edge of the spa, goosebumps covering his skin, but his legs dipped into the hot water as he listened to the back-and-forth chatter about whose boobs looked better.
“Well, let’s put this argument to rest then. I’ll be the one to decide who has the best tits and whether or not Yasmin’s are a copy of yours.”
He said it in jest, but the girls were too far inebriated and caught up in their conversation for Yasmin to hesitate.
“Let’s do it! My boobs are on Dr. Reye’s social media anyway.”
Jayda, though far more relaxed, shot her hands up in front of her with a chuckle. “Compare away, but I’m not taking off my bikini top!”
Yasmin was already pulling at the string of her tiny black bikini, the knot behind her neck loosening. In a matter of seconds, she pulled it off and threw the wet scrap of material aside with a splat.
“What! Don’t be shy! Sam, tell her—if she takes off her bikini so we can compare, you’ll take your underwear off.”
Sam was staring at Yasmin’s breasts. Larger than handfuls, teardrop-shaped with pointed nipples—credit to the frosty air—he was mesmerized. Yasmin’s hair was tied up in a pile on top of her head, baring her elegant neck and giving him a clear view of her smooth skin.
He spread his legs wider, just a touch, to give the stirring he’d begun to feel below some room.
“Earth to Sam!” Yasmin waved her hand, not the least bit embarrassed that he was staring at her chest. “Tell her!”
Sam snapped out of his reverie and smirked over at Jayda, who was looking at them both with amusement. Jayda’s eyes still held a hint of shyness—he didn’t blame her. He was essentially a stranger.
She tilted her chin up and crossed her arms over her chest, which only pushed her own breasts up and together in an impressive cleavage, before saying, “He can compare perfectly well with my bikini on, though. I’d feel so…I don’t know…exposed!” She looked directly at Sam and smiled cheekily. “I dare you to take your underwear off. Let’s see how you feel completely exposed.”
“Honey, I’m just about naked already. And I’m sitting out in the snowy air—I’m already exposed!”
Jayda shrugged a dainty shoulder. “I dare you.”
Sam smirked and leaned forward, elbows on his widened knees, moving closer to her. “I double dare you.”
Yasmin glided forward and sat next to Jayda. Since Jayda was facing Sam and had her body tilted toward him, Yasmin was essentially sitting behind her. She toyed with Jayda’s red bikini but looked at Sam; both women had their eyes set on him.
“You first, Sam. Tit”—Yasmin bobbed up, her breasts rising above the water just enough for her nipples to be on display, before dipping back down under the bubbles—“for tat.”
Sam had no idea when he drove through the snowy mountain range that he’d end up stripping down to his birthday suit and comparing two women’s breasts in a spa. He definitely didn’t think this offer would ever fall into his hardening lap again, so…why the hell not?
