Kara was flustered when she left the bathroom. She couldn’t stop thinking about Adam’s body and the way it looked glimmering with water. Not to mention how big his… Control yourself, Kara!
Luckily, Megan came in through the door, distracting her.
“Hey, you,” Megan said timidly, knowing that Kara was still upset with her.
“Hi,” Kara said shortly.
“Still mad?” asked Megan.
“Depends… what’s for breakfast?” replied Kara, eyeing the takeout bag in Megan’s hands.
“I got your favorite,” said Megan.
She had brought pancakes from Kara’s favorite diner.
“Fine,” Megan gave in.
They both set up the table. Kara only set up two sets of plates and cutlery. Megan rolled her eyes and set up a third spot for Adam.
As Kara made a pot of coffee, she heard Adam come out of the shower.
“Looks amazing,” he said, “thanks, Meg.”
Kara heard his footsteps get closer until they were right behind her. His arm reached past her, grabbing a coffee mug from the counter.
“Liked what you saw in there?” he whispered directly into her ear.
Surprised by his brazenness, Kara spilled some hot coffee on the counter, getting some on her arm. She pushed her body backwards, bumping into him. She could feel his cock bump against her. His body was firm and strong.
“Oh shoot,” she said.
“Here,” he replied, much kinder than he’d been with her so far, “let me take a look.”
He moved her arm under the sink tap, running cold water on where the coffee had scalded her skin. His gentleness shocked her.
“I can do this on my own,” Kara insisted, snatching her arm away from him. The truth was she was going crazy at the feeling of his touch.
“Fine,” he said, cold again, “suit yourself.”
At the table, Adam insisted on sitting next to Kara. Throughout the meal, he would brush against her and smirk at her response.
“What’s going on between you two?” Megan finally asked.
“What do you mean between us?” Kara replied, pretending to be oblivious.
“Is it that obvious?” teased Adam.
Kara slapped Adam’s shoulder playfully.
“There is nothing going on with us,” Kara screeched.
“Your friend here,” Adam explained, “likes to watch me shower.”
“Kara,” Megan exclaimed.
“I do not like to watch you shower,” Kara said hurriedly, “it was an accident.”
“Well, you didn’t look away,” Adam remarked bluntly.
“I was in shock,” Kara retorted.
Once again, they had subconsciously been leaning into one another. Their faces were too close. She could feel his breath on her cheek.
“Geez,” said Megan, “get a room.”
Kara made a disgusted facial expression and grabbed her plate and cutlery, almost throwing them in the sink. She angrily scrubbed the dishes. She was so upset she didn’t even notice how hot the water was. Megan glared at Adam.
“What?” he asked, annoyed.
“I want him out of here,” said Kara angrily.
“Come on,” Megan argued, “be reasonable, Kara.”
“You’re the one that needs to be reasonable, Megan,” Kara snapped back.
She stormed to her bedroom, slamming the door behind her. She screamed into her pillow to release some of her frustration.
What was wrong with her? Why was she letting him get to her? He had an effect on her she could not explain. Like he knew the exact things to say and do to push her buttons. All her buttons…
Oh no… My paper. It’s due tomorrow.
How could she focus on her work when all she could think about was him? Her body shivered when she recalled his body pressed behind hers. The way he asked her if she liked what she saw.
Even though he infuriated her, he also made her want to rip his clothes off. He was aggressive but so gentle when he needed to be. It was very confusing.
She would never admit this to him obviously. Cocky asshole. ~His head would become too inflated. More than it already was.
Still furious, Kara settled on taking a cold shower to soothe her urges. She felt herself cool down as Adam slipped away from her thoughts. She knew he was still there in the back of her mind. He would always be there as long as he was around her.
She wondered if he felt the same. Did he get hard at the thought of her?
