Fifteen years!
That was how long it had been since my reign ended. I was at the top of the food chain all those years ago, but that was definitely no longer the case.
Tiffany, on the other hand, had done really well for herself. She was a celebrated social media influencer, had a very attractive husband, and had two kids in private school.
Back in the day, she was the head cheerleader when I was captain of the basketball team. Now, she stood laughing with Mrs. Paulson, as if English literature had always been her favorite subject.
I hated this high school reunion already. Presley was the only person I really wanted to talk to, but he was chatting with Mr. Kim.
Instead, I had to listen to Bernard’s rambling. He still looked the same, which in his case wasn’t a compliment. He’d recently won some kind of award for an experiment I didn’t understand, and he just couldn’t stop talking about it.
I was about to excuse myself when, out of nowhere, Taylor fucking Reed walked into the room. Holy shit! He never showed up to these reunions. What the hell was he doing here now?!
Taylor was something of a school legend.
After graduation, he went to the American Institute of Technology, dropped out, set up a cybersecurity company, and sold it for a few million to Karina Hagen. He’d disappeared to travel the world for six months, and now he was here of all places?
The crowd slowly started to get over their collective shock before rushing over to greet him. He seemed oddly at peace as he smiled at all the people who had once made his life a living hell.
Taylor had been the person everyone loved to torment. In senior year, Tiffany had humiliated him in front of the entire Spanish class, and now she was taking a selfie with him, undoubtedly meant for her Instagram followers.
It was astonishing to see what wealth could do for a person. Taylor looked absolutely amazing. He had a head full of curls, fixed teeth, and a gym-trained torso. The tan was probably from all the exotic places he’d visited, and the navy-blue suit was clearly very expensive.
He also moved differently; the money definitely put confidence in his step. I didn’t know where to look when I realized he was walking in my direction.
“Shane,” he said, hands in his pockets.
“Taylor,” I said nonchalantly.
“I heard your father passed. My condolences,” Taylor said quietly.
“Thanks, I appreciate it,” I replied, honestly surprised that he knew.
That was when Mrs. Lipschitz showed up. Apparently, she was very enthusiastic about catching up with him. To my surprise, he mouthed an apology, although he didn’t owe me a conversation.
I needed some air.
I was staring into space when Taylor walked out of the school building toward a black town car with a driver holding the door open.
When he saw me, he stopped and looked at me for a moment. “You should drop by the house sometime. There’s something I’d like to show you,” he said cryptically.
He stuck his hand in his jacket pocket and pulled out a business card. Then, his confident walk took him back to his car.
Taylor Reed was gone as quickly as he appeared.

I couldn’t get Taylor out of my head. What the fuck did he want to show me? Why had he even bothered to make an appearance the other night? Weren’t we all figments of his traumatic past?
Everyone knew Taylor was gay, but very few people were aware that I was bisexual. I found his purchased good looks and the way he now oozed confidence extremely fucking sexy.
Eventually, my curiosity got the better of me, and I called him. I wasn’t even sure if he’d remember our conversation, but he seemed enthusiastic about me visiting. He even sent a car to pick me up.
I was shocked to find out what all the fuss was about…
A signed fucking basketball?!
I had to admit that it wasn’t just any signature; it was my all-time favorite NBA player. But how could he have possibly remembered that?
Taylor then showed me the rest of his extensive collection and gave me the full tour of his enormous house, which ended at a gorgeous swimming pool.
“Care for a dip?” he asked casually.
“I didn’t bring a bathing suit,” I said, pointing out the obvious.
“No worries,” he said with a shrug. “It’s just the two of us here, and the closest neighbor lives miles away, so…”
It took me a moment to realize what he was implying. Was he for real? He wanted to skinny dip together in his pool?
As I stood behind him, still contemplating, Taylor stripped out of his clothes and dove effortlessly into the clear water.
Well…when in Rome.
Joining him at the glass wall on the opposite end, I slung my arms over the edge and admired the stunning view of the city below.
“Why am I really here, Taylor?” I dared to ask.
He looked at me intently and said, “He finally asks THE question.”
I waited for him to answer, but instead, he swam back to the other end of the pool and hoisted himself out. All I got to see was his perky ass before he wrapped a towel around his waist.
“There’s one for you too,” he said, pointing at a towel on the deck chair. “I’ll be in the sauna.”
He pressed a secret door in the wall and disappeared inside.
This entire situation was extremely fucking weird, and although my instincts told me to leave, I just had to know why the hell I’d been invited here.
I followed Taylor into the sauna, only to find him butt naked. His arms were splayed out over the back bench, and his legs were spread wide open.
He had a huge dick, and all I could think about was how much bigger it would get when it was hard.
“Make yourself comfortable,” he said, waving a hand.
I refused to show that he was making me uncomfortable, so I hung my towel on the peg and sat down next to him.
“To answer your earlier question…,” he said, shifting his position. “I’m rich, bored, and I like to collect things, including…unique sexual experiences.”
What the actual fuck?!
“You were the most popular guy in high school and utterly unattainable.”
I could hardly breathe, and it wasn’t because of the heat of the sauna.
“I’ll give you a hundred thousand dollars if you have sex with me.”
Holy fucking fuckballs! He wanted to fuck me with that massive dick AND pay me a hundred grand?
“Shit, are you actually considering it?” he said, bursting out laughing. “I’m just messing with you, dude! I’m sorry. I have a really fucked-up sense of humor.”
Now I felt stupid.
“The real reason I invited you here is because the other night you brought back a few good memories from high school,” he said with a smile. “I’m comfortable enough now to tell you that I had a massive crush on you back then.”
I just blinked at him, utterly lost. That was what this bizarre encounter was about? For him to admit an old crush? He didn’t know that I was into guys, so what did he hope to achieve with his confession?
“Oh, really? I would never have guessed,” I said offhandedly.
“You don’t seem very shocked by any of this,” he said, looking at me curiously. “I honestly thought you’d freak out, especially over my little joke.”
“Perhaps I really need the money,” I said with a shrug, determined to rattle him further.
He’d probably figured that I was one of those straight guys who felt threatened by a little man-love.
“Wait, you’d seriously consider having sex with me for cash?” Taylor now looked utterly confused.
“Sure, fuck it!” I said, trying my best to play it cool.
This was a fun game, and I was pretty sure that he’d never follow through.
“Done,” he said, sticking out his hand to shake on the deal.
Shit! I couldn’t tell if he was messing with me again, so I finally broke and told him the truth.
“Dude, I’m bisexual. With a dick like that, you don’t need money to convince me to have sex with you.”
He gave me an utterly stunned look but said nothing.
Taylor then reiterated that he really was joking about his offer but confessed that getting me naked had been for his own amusement. The shenanigans were now over, however, and he invited me inside for a drink.
He didn’t flirt or make a move as we reminisced about high school. According to him, I was one of the few people who hadn’t been awful to him all those years ago. Obviously, I wasn’t going to tell him that I’d barely registered his existence.
When the car brought me back home around midnight, I felt like I’d spent genuine quality time with an old friend.
Yet, I secretly wished that more would have happened.
